Invacare Rea Azalea Performance and Stability
The unique Dual Stability System ensures exceptional safety and confidence is maintained at all times, with the seating system moving forward and down inside the frame during tilt and recline to guarantee stability even at full range. Pivot points are aligned to match the natural pivot points of the body, enabling synchronised movement between the user and the wheelchair to reduce the risk of shear and pressure. An overall length of 95 to 102cm and overall width of seat width plus 22cm provide a practical and manageable footprint for everyday indoor and outdoor use.
Invacare Rea Azalea Comfort and Seating Adjustability
The seating system offers 25° of seat tilt and 30° of backrest recline, both easily adjusted by attendant gas pistons for light and effortless repositioning throughout the day. Seat width adjusts from 39cm to 55cm and seat depth from 43cm to 50cm, with an optional electric controlled version offering independent postural control for the user. The Flex 3 tension-adjustable backrest accommodates complex spinal shapes with height, width, and angle adjustment, and can be rotated to provide support where it is most needed.
