Our Mobility rANGE FOR HIRE

Kent Mobility is pleased to offer a range of basic mobility products to hire. We have both manual and powered wheelchairs and some small portable/boot scooters available.

The manual wheelchairs are available in self-propelled (large rear wheel) or transit (small rear wheel) versions. Some manual wheelchairs can be fitted with elevating leg rests – this request needs to be discussed at the time of booking the hire.

We also have tilt-in-space manual wheelchairs available for hire.

All hire products have a maximum user weight of 16 stone.

Customers will be required to provide their own cushions – except for the tilt in space chair.

There is no minimum or maximum length of hire period. You will need to give us an indication of the number of days required when making the booking.

The charges are as follows:

Manual Wheelchair require a £100.00 refundable deposit in either cash or a cheque – no card payments are accepted for deposits.

If you are intending to take the chair abroad the deposit increases to £200.00.

The daily charge is £10.00 per day for the basic self-propelled or transit versions.

The daily charge is £15.00 per day for the tilt-in-space version and the refundable deposit increases to £200.00 and cleaning charge of £30.00 per chair upon return.

Power Wheelchairs require a £100.00 refundable deposit in either cash or a cheque – no card payments are accepted for deposits.
