KiMobility Liberty FT Tilt-in-Space Wheelchair
The KiMobility Liberty FT is the only adult tilt-in-space wheelchair that folds into a truly portable package, combining independent propulsion capability with the clinical benefits of tilt-in-space in a single lightweight solution. Weighing just 11.7kg in transport configuration and supporting a maximum user weight of 113kg, the Ki Mobility Liberty FT is available in both folding and rigid base options to suit different user and caregiver requirements. With a tilt range of 0° to 20°, it delivers meaningful pressure relief and postural support without compromising everyday mobility.
KiMobility Liberty FT Performance and Manoeuvrability
The front seat height remains constant regardless of tilt angle, allowing users to maintain optimal foot propulsion at any degree of tilt without adjustment. The rigid base option offers fewer moving parts, a 24.5lb transport weight, and optional fold-down back for the lightest and most transportable tilt-in-space configuration available. Exclusive magnesium Maxx Mag wheels reduce overall chair width by up to 1 inch while providing greater stiffness and lower weight than standard composite mag wheels.
Comfort and Seating Adjustability
Seat width adjusts from 36cm to 56cm, seat depth from 36cm to 51cm, and seat height from 33cm to 51cm, accommodating a wide range of user dimensions and clinical requirements. An easy-to-adjust gas spring design allows effortless repositioning for pressure relief, postural management, or gravity relief throughout the day. The modular frame allows width, depth, backrest height, seat-to-floor height, and centre of gravity to all be adjusted quickly, making it particularly well suited to stroke rehabilitation environments with short discharge timelines.
Practical Design and Customisation
High-pressure metal moulding technology results in an exceptionally strong and lightweight frame, with the side frame weighing just 2.8lbs as an example of the engineering precision throughout. The folding base option provides independent foot or hand propulsion alongside the ability for caregivers to fold and transport the chair with ease. Maxx Mag wheels are available in 20, 22, and 24 inch sizes to suit different user preferences and propulsion styles.
