Built from the same signature frame construction used across Ki Mobility’s high-performance adult rigid chairs, the Little Wave delivers exceptional rigidity and manoeuvrability that helps children get the most from every push. Weighing just 5.67kg and supporting a maximum user weight of 75kg, it is transit tested and approved as a dependable long-term paediatric mobility solution.
KiMobility Little Wave Performance and Manoeuvrability
The 7000 series aluminium frame keeps the chair as light and rigid as possible, maximising propulsion efficiency and ease of movement across everyday indoor and outdoor environments. The Tower System allows straightforward centre of gravity adjustment and rear wheel placement, ensuring the child always has optimal access to the wheels for independent propulsion. An optional rotating 5th wheel permits more aggressive rear wheel positioning to promote midline wheel access and can be quickly height-adjusted or removed to suit varied terrain.
Comfort and Seating Adjustability
Seat width adjusts from 25cm to 41cm, seat depth from 25cm to 41cm, front seat height from 29cm to 52cm, and back seat height from 29cm to 51cm, providing extensive growth adjustment to accommodate the child over time. The multi-adjustable flip-up footplate offers an infinite number of positions and includes a strap allowing the rider to lift the footplate without bending down. In-frame Xpanders allow the chair to grow in width while maintaining structural integrity, adding capacity only when needed without additional weight.

Height-adjustable stroller handles are available in single or double configurations at standard and tall heights, ensuring comfort for carers, parents, and teachers throughout the day. Seat depth adjustment of up to 3 inches can be specified at the point of order at no extra charge, providing accessible on-frame growth over time.
