QUICKIE Q200 R uses an innovative testing method called SMART base technology. This helped us to understand how geometry changes to a drive base can affect performance, creating a precision-measured TRUE indoor/outdoor powerchair.

From SMART base development the Q200 R powerchair boasts a small footprint of 580 mm wide and 1070 mm long, with a 1700 mm turning circle, so navigating even the tightest of spaces is a breeze.

Going out? The QUICKIE Q200 R is a step up from the Q100 R in terms of outdoor performance.  The Q200 provides greater stability to prevent tipping and is ideal for the taller and larger user, with a max. weight of 136kg.  Using the Q200 R it’s no uphill struggle, with its larger castor wheels it can tackle any open-air terrain.  The Q200 R provides excellent outdoor performance as it easily manoeuvres through uneven and hilly territory with the ability to tackle hills of up to 8 degrees.

Unbelievably light at 98 kg with a fold down back, the Q200 R is also easy to hoist in and out of your car.

The QUICKIE Q200 R is a compact rear-wheel drive powered wheelchair designed to bridge the gap between indoor manoeuvrability and enhanced outdoor performance. As a step up from the Q100 R, it offers improved stability, traction and handling for users who require more capability across varied terrain.

QUICKIE Q200 R Dimensions and Compact Design

The QUICKIE Q200 R features a compact footprint with a width of 580mm and a length of 1070mm, making it suitable for navigating tight indoor environments while maintaining improved outdoor stability.

Seat width ranges from 380mm to 490mm, with seat height options of 450mm or 490mm, allowing for flexible seating configurations. A tight turning radius of approximately 850mm enables excellent manoeuvrability in confined spaces.

QUICKIE Q200 R Indoor and Outdoor Performance

Built using SMART Base Technology, the QUICKIE Q200 R is designed to optimise stability and traction across different environments. It is capable of handling slopes of up to 8° and kerbs up to 70–100mm (with kerb climber), making it suitable for more demanding outdoor use compared to entry-level models.

The wheelchair offers a maximum range of up to 31km (19 miles) and maintains a top speed of 6km/h, supporting reliable everyday mobility.

Larger drive wheels and castors compared to the Q100 R improve stability and performance over uneven terrain, while still maintaining compact indoor usability.

Comfort and Seating Adjustability

Includes a configurable seating system designed for comfort and postural support. Seat depth ranges from 405mm to 505mm, with backrest angles adjustable from 0° to 12°. Seat tilt ranges from 0° to 6°, while armrest height can be adjusted between 230mm and 305mm.

The backrest height is fixed at 500mm, and optional adjustments allow for further customisation depending on user requirements.

Performance and Technical Features

Powered by VR2 electronics and 55Ah batteries, it delivers consistent performance with a total weight starting from 98kg including batteries. A fold-down backrest and removable components make it easier to transport and store.

Safety and Transportation

Crash tested and meets ISO 7176-19 standards, ensuring it is suitable for transport when correctly secured in an appropriate vehicle.
