The Aviva RX10 is a compact, rear-wheel drive powered wheelchair designed for comfortable, dependable everyday mobility indoors and outdoors. Its ultra-compact base makes it easy to manoeuvre in the home, and it is crash tested to ISO 7176 for added peace of mind when travelling in a vehicle.
Aviva RX10 Specifications
The Aviva RX10 is available in two seat widths, 43cm (17″) and 48cm (19″), each with 5cm (2″) of width adjustment. The seat depth adjusts from 41cm to 51cm (16.1″ to 20.1″), with 46cm (18.1″) as standard. It offers two seat-to-floor heights, 45cm (17.7″) as standard or 47cm (18.5″).
It supports a maximum user weight of 136kg (21.4 stone) and is powered by 51Ah GEL batteries, with a maximum speed of 6km/h (3.7mph).
It comes in three configurations: Drive Only with manual recline, Powered Tilt with manual recline, or Powered Tilt with Powered Recline.
Comfort and Seating System
The Aviva RX10 features Action-style seating with a solid seat plate and a 51cm (20.1″) high TAB backrest with nylon overlay. The armrests and pads adjust for height, depth and width. The 80° Action-style hangers are length adjustable with flip-up footplates. A neckrest is included on powered seating models.
Performance and Handling
Rear-wheel suspension and 14″ solid drive wheels, paired with 8″ solid castors, give a smooth, puncture-proof ride over a range of surfaces. The LiNX remote mounts on a swing-away bracket on the right as standard and can be reconfigured to the left.
Safety and Practical Features
The Aviva RX10 is crash-tested to ISO 7176 for use as a seat in a vehicle and is highly cross-compatible with other DHCare parts and accessories. A charger and user manual are included.
