Hannah came to us in October 2024 for an assessment for a new power chair as she was uncomfortable in her old Salsa M2, which she had had since she was 6 years old. Hannah is now 13 years old. Her family had managed to secure some charity funding so the search for a new power chair began.
The Wheelchair Service had been unable to offer her some of the features she felt she now needed from a new power chair. Hannah wanted a riser seat function to offer her more functional independence and for social benefits when out with her friends and family. Hannah has reduced sensation in her legs and felt that this would be helped by the use of powered elevating legrests. Hannah now has a new pink Dietz Slimline complete with pink Spex seating for added comfort and postural support.
