QUICKIE Q100 R uses an innovative testing method called SMART base technology. This helped us to understand how geometry changes to a drive base can affect performance, creating a precision-measured TRUE indoor/outdoor powerchair.

From SMART base development the Q100 R powerchair boasts an ultra-small footprint of 540 mm wide and 1010 mm long, with a tiny 1600 mm turning circle, so navigating even the tightest of spaces is a breeze.

Going out? The QUICKIE Q100 R provides a stable ride on urban roads and paths, ideal for those day trips out.
Unbelievably light at 95 kg, the Q100 R is also easy to hoist in and out of your car.

QUICKIE Q100 R Rear-Wheel Drive Power Wheelchair

QUICKIE Q100 R is an ultra-compact rear-wheel drive power wheelchair designed to deliver reliable indoor agility with stable outdoor performance. Built as an entry-level powered wheelchair, it combines a small footprint with strong manoeuvrability, making it suitable for everyday use at home and in the community.

QUICKIE Q100 R Dimensions and Compact Design

The QUICKIE Q100 R features an ultra-compact base with a width of 540mm (21”) and a length of 1010mm (39.5”), allowing it to navigate tight indoor environments with ease. Its compact design makes it particularly effective in confined spaces such as doorways, lifts and narrow corridors.

Seat width ranges from 430mm to 500mm (17”–19”), with a seat height of 450mm (17.5”), supporting a practical and accessible seating position.

QUICKIE Q100 R Indoor and Outdoor Performance

Designed using SMART Base Technology, balances indoor manoeuvrability with outdoor stability. It offers a tight turning radius of approximately 1600mm (63”), making it highly responsive in restricted spaces.

For outdoor use, the wheelchair is capable of climbing kerbs up to 70–100mm (with kerb climber fitted) and provides a maximum range of up to 31km (19 miles). It maintains a maximum speed of 6km/h and supports a maximum user weight of 125kg.

Comfort and Seating Adjustability

Includes a configurable seating system designed to support posture and comfort. Seat depth ranges from 405mm to 510mm (16”–20”), with backrest angle adjustments of 0°, 4°, 8° and 12°. Seat tilt options range from 0° to 6°, while armrest height can be adjusted between 230mm and 305mm.

Backrest height is set at 500mm (20”), and additional configuration options allow for further customisation based on user needs.

Performance and Technical Features

Powered by VR2 electronics and 55Ah batteries, the QUICKIE Q100 R is designed for dependable everyday use. It weighs from 95kg including batteries, making it suitable for transport and vehicle hoisting.

The wheelchair also supports a maximum safe slope of 6°, ensuring stable performance across varied terrain.

Safety and Transportation

Crash tested, meets ISO 7176-19 standards, making it suitable for transport in appropriately equipped vehicles when correctly secured.
